Who We Are
We started our business in 2019 with one goal in mind: providing an enjoyable and hospitable dining experience to the Middlesex County area. My name is Magdala, prefer to be called Maggie. I am a native of Port au Prince Haiti. I came to the United States at the age of 3 years old. I was Raised in Brooklyn, New York by both my Mom and Dad whom supported me and my 5 brothers. I managed to somehow take care of them all and took great pride in it. There were times where my parents had long day at work and I had to help them by cooking for everyone. There, is when I found my passion for food. I concocted so many dishes to the point that my brothers fell in love with my many different dishes. I than started to work in the restaurant industry where I landed a Small line cook position. I worked my way up and became a Restaurant Manager. For ten years I learned every aspect of the restaurant industry and fell in love. My mother Anne said one day “ Why don’t we open a restaurant “ I thought she was kidding but later found out she was in fact serious. Here I am now with Bella Noir, meaning Beautiful Black (describing myself of course 😊) Happy for our experience and dedication, we’ve managed to give you all of us in providing best dishes from our culture. So here we are waiting to serve you. Thank you to all.
